Immigration and Industrial Revolution in America from the 17th to 19th century. Within the span of a few decades from the 17th century, the United States of America was transformed from a rural agrarian society to an industrial economical center in large Metropolitan cities. During the American industrial revolution, they manufactured, marketed, and transported goods through a rapidly expanding national network of rail lines and highways. These changes resulted in the American industrial revolution which was founded on rising investment, employment, and productivity in the industrial sector.

 Immigration to the United States from 1851 to 1900

In the late 18th century people from many parts of the world left their homes and immigrated to the United States. The failure of crop production, land, job shortage, rising taxes, and famine many fleeing people came to the U.S.A. The vast land of the U.SA allowed the people. Many persons seek freedom from political or religious persecution. The 12 million immigrants arrived in the United States between 1870 to 1900. The vast majority of people were from Germany, Ireland, and England. The immigrants prompted more concern among Native Americans.

The hard economy of Europe in 1870, European immigrants arrived in the United States. They entered through several ports. Generally came through East coast facilities. The Asians entered through west coast centers. 70 % of all immigrants entered New York City. which is known as the Golden door.

Enormous gains in industrial production and lower transportation costs. The 19th century is the age of Urbanization and immigration. The pace of rural-to-urban migration started and people migrated for better education and employment. The abundance of mineral resources, and technological innovation for rapid industrial growth. The American system of manufacturing, railroads, and lower the cost of transportation.

Agricultural and industrial development

Most immigrants came to the State for economic benefits and cheap land as compared to their home countries. The results of this distribution of fertile and accessible land. In the late 19th century, everything seemed to move faster. They brought more land under cultivation between 1870 to 1900. Farmers developed new larger more fertile farms. They invested in technology particularly improved plows, reapers, and threshers.

The rise of industrial America's dominance of wage labor and the growth of cities provided great changes in the period. After the end of the civil war, Americans anticipated rapid rinses in the industry for the first time in the history of the nation.

The skilled workers proved successful to maintain their position in 1880. The 1877 beginning of the railroad whole economy seemed to revolve around it. The railroads powered the industrial economy. They consumed the majority of iron and steel produced in the United States in 1890.

 The Beginnings of industrialization 

The first and second Industrial Revolutions had a tremendous impact on Europe and the United States from the 17th century to the 19th century. Before Industrialization the economy of the United States was agrarian in nature. The individuals and families had a large subsistence, they produced the majority of their own food and other goods. The goods were produced using simple machines and various small tools. The cottage industry emerged and provided employees with equipment and materials.

The era of Industrialization

The period of 1870-1916 is termed as a phase of the Industrial revolution. Improved Iron and Textile sectors, and developed the steam engine that improved transportation. The Communication and banking sector also played important role in development. The improved value of production also improved the living standard. The industrial revolution came into being due to the deposition of Iron ore.
